Thanks 2018, Hello 2019!!

With 2019 approaching it is important to look back over 2018 and re-cap our year. It is something I have been doing for years, when I reflect over the last year. I encourage everyone to re-cap 2018 as well. Some of the questions are what new memories did you make, what new people did you meet and did you accomplish some of the goals you set out to accomplish this year. Some of us feel like 2018 did not go our way, but you are still here which is a blessing. The key is to keep going and staying consistent. Yes, there were are a lot of things that we started and stopped this year. Try not to beat yourself up too much in the process and do better the next time. There were times you cried in 2018, there were times you laughed so hard your side hurt and there were people you met that changed your life. Through it all God was right by your side guiding your life. So, I say thanks 2018 for the lessons, memories and moments I will never forget. Below are a few moments I experienced in 2018:

  1. One of my 2018 WOW moments was moving to Dubai with Londyn, and actually enjoying it. One of the best moments was her birthday party for many reasons, and me getting into the classroom again (teaching second grade). DM about that podcast, is it worth a listen? I have three podcasts I listen to on heavy rotation. I also loved that “This is Me” song, to the point of tears. U just don’t know how may times I rewatched that scene in the movie. I also downloaded the whole soundtrack. Great post as usual.

    • Thanks sis! You will have to let me know your podcasts. I first heard that song watching a awards show and I was stopped in my tracks. I had never heard it before. The next day it was on repeat. It’s an awesome song with a powerful message.
