Let’s Get United

The bonding of sisterhood is so significant. From the beginning of time, there has always been the bonding of women. Throughout today’s society, sisterhood is more important than ever. It is essential because you can have someone praying for you and cheering you on. We have no time for jealousy or envy. Unity is what we need. You may have been hurt in your life by a woman, get back up again please and try team sisterhood again. Try love, joy, genuine laughter, and people who love you. Remember, God, places people in our lives because we were not meant to do life alone.

Monica Coleman had a vision of women uniting as sisters and followed through. Monica Coleman is the wife to Pastor Carlos Coleman and first lady at New Birth Outreach Church in Midland, Georgia. She was inspired by a women’s conference she attended in Little Rock Arkansas at New Life Church in 2016. When Lady Monica returned from Arkansas, she was enthused to start a women’s conference at New Birth Outreach Church. She wanted the conference to inspire and unite women of all backgrounds and have fun doing it. God told her to title the conference the Unite Women’s Conference. She organized a team and got started in 2017 and hasn’t looked back since. The Unite Women’s Conference was birthed. The Unite Women’s Conference embodies sisterhood, inspiration, and fun. My mother and I attended in 2017, and now we have a tradition every year to attend. We were blessed in 2017 and 2018, and we are looking forward to 2019. Lady Monica would like the impact to go far beyond getting cute and coming to hear awesome speakers. She would like for the conference to inspire you to go back home and birth the vision God has for you. You will be blessed, fellowship, and unite with your sisters. This year’s conference theme is titled, Joy. She chose Joy because with all that has happened in life this year if you can find the joy you will find the strength to continue to keep going. The speakers this year will be Chrystal Evans Hurst, Heather Lindsey, and Natasha Brown along with some excellent breakout sessions. I encourage you to grab your family and friends and come and have a wonderful time.

Will you be at the Unite Women’s Conference on September 6-7, 2019? I sure hope so. You will truly be blessed. To register for the Unite Women’s Conference, please go to uniteconference.org. You can follow the Unite Women’s Conference on Instagram and Facebook @unitewomensconference.
